Roadtrip 2021

The first week of September 2021 I went on a month-long road trip with my boyfriend and so much has changed for me. I’ve now visited a little over 30 US states. I’ve gone from girlfriend to fiancé. I turned 32. I feel a lot more decisive about what I want in life. Prior to this trip I’ve only traveled outside of the country once and visited a small handful of states (NJ, FL, PA, TX, LA). At this point, I can say I’ve seen so much. I met some kind people. I took massive amounts of pictures. I ate ridiculous amounts of food and I went camping about 10x. It’s shifted my perspective on life, this country, and how I show up in the world.

I took over 7000 photos on our road trip. No joke! 😅 It felt funny at first whipping out the tripod especially when people offered to shoot for us and I was like “Nope, I’m good.” The whole time I got to play and experiment with what works and what doesn’t. I’ve been on a journey to really embrace and own my creative voice when for so long I’ve looked to the approval of outsiders with the wrong bottom line. We’re done with that honey.

I’m currently writing a blog about my travels breaking down each day in photos and in activities! I can’t wait to relive it all and share the memories.
