Floral Portrait Shoot

Model: Mayu Yamashita

This was my first in-studio shoot! I was heavily inspired by photographer Joanna Kustra and her work “MERRY FLOWERS”. I love the way she played with natural-looking light and the way she used florals as props. I wanted to replicate something similar in my style with model Mayu Yamashita who is a dancer. I noticed a lot of people shoot Mayu in a more edgy way and I wanted to make this one more soft and lovely. With the time we had left I caught Mayu just being herself in her denim outfit and tank.
